摘要(中) 有關技術授權之議題,近年來因TFT-LCD產業之發展與國際上技術貿易之爭端而日漸受重視,加之每年授權權利金之規模不斷擴大,由此台灣產業或廠商之競爭型態與行為,勢必受廠商授權活動之影響。然而市面上之書籍多半屬於法律層面上之探討,故本文欲以嚴謹之經濟實證分析台灣資訊電子廠商技術授權及其外溢效果對廠商生產力之影響。
本實証使用之資料樣本為台灣資訊電子產業之上市公司,研究期間為1987年至2002年,經處理完後之最後資料為2192筆282家廠商,其中有175家廠商無授權歷史。本研究之估計方法除採傳統Panel data 之估計方法,另外亦嘗試以Dynamic Panel data模型採用一般動差法(Generalized Method of Moment, GMM) 選擇適當之工具變數估計模型。
本研究之實證結果為:研究發展與技術授權對生產力有正面之貢獻,並且研究發展外溢與技術授權外溢皆為負向之外溢效果,除顯示台灣資訊電子廠商所處之環境競爭激烈外,亦可能有重複R&D投入之疑慮。並且,在上述兩種實證結果下,驗證了台灣資訊電子產業內之廠商不但有動力亦有壓力增加研究發展支出與技術授權支出。另外,其他實證結果亦顯示技術授權對廠商生產力之貢獻要大於R&D對廠商生產力的貢獻。並且,各項知識變數之間的交互作用皆能影響廠商之生產力,故總外溢效果實應考慮各創新投入與外溢間之交互作用,方能對廠商從事創新活動所產生之外部性有充分了解。
