摘要(中) 在產品客製化、市場全球化及超優勢競爭的產業趨勢下,今日的製造業面臨著比過去更為激烈與動態的競爭環境。為了因應環境不確定性的需要,越來越多製造商選擇依賴供應商來提供關鍵的生產能力,並逐漸改變了雙方之間的交易關係。鑑於上述交易關係的變化與廠商之間的相依結構及協調需求息息相關,本研究因此試圖從交易成本理論與資源基礎觀點推論相關現象的變化並提供可能的解釋。
本研究的研究問題主要有二:一是探討交易特性對於供應鏈廠商所依賴的協調機制的影響。其中,交易特性包括環境不確定性、賣方特用性投資、買方特用性投資和交易頻率;協調機制包括明確契約、規範契約及虛擬垂直整合。另一項研究問題則是探討上述供應鏈協調機制對於供應鏈管理績效的影響,包括交易彈性、買方製造目的達成和供應商績效等三方面。在降低交易成本與提昇交易價值的邏輯下,本研究分別推論上述研究構念之間的直接與調節效果的實質影響關係,並建構一個包含18項假說的研究模型。
在實徵資料方面,本研究以中華徵信所2001年出版的「台灣5000大企業排名」名錄隨機抽取980家製造業廠商進行問卷調查,郵寄對象為採購經理人。其中,採購經理人的有效回收樣本為145份,有效回收率達15.0%。經由樣本穩定度、量表品質及方法誤差檢測等步驟發現,本研究回收資料較偏向特定產業的大型企業,樣本資料存在一定程度的方法誤差,但相關的測量量表符合一般構念效度及信度的品質要求。
除此之外,本研究以結構化方程組模型對研究假說進行因徑分析(path analysis)與多群組分析(multiple-group analysis),主要研究結果包括:(1)隨著環境不確定性越高,廠商越不依賴明確及規範契約作為協調機制;(2)隨著賣方特用性投資越高,廠商越依賴規範契約作為協調機制;此外,隨著淨賣方特用性投資越高,廠商會同時依賴明確契約和規範契約而較不依賴虛擬垂直整合作為協調機制;(3)隨著買方特用性越高,廠商越不依賴規範契約但較依賴虛擬垂直整合來協調交易;(4)交易頻率對廠商依賴協調機制的程度沒有顯著的影響;(5)規範契約和虛擬垂直整合對於供應鏈績效有顯著的影響,明確契約的影響則不顯著。除此之外,本研究亦發現買方權力、賣方權力和交易規模對於虛擬垂直整合有一定程度的解釋能力。整體而言,本研究13項直接效果的假說中有7項獲得支持,5項調節效果中有2項獲得支持。
研究結果發現,以交易成本理論和資源基礎觀點所做的推論獲得相當程度的支持:在協調機制的影響因素方面,環境不確定性和買賣雙方的特用性投資對於明確契約、規範契約和虛擬垂直整合程度有較為顯著的解釋能力;在供應鏈管理績效方面,規範契約和虛擬垂直整合對其有相當程度的直接影響效果及中介效果。最後,鑑於影響供應鏈協調機制與管理績效的因素繁多,本研究建議後續研究針對本研究中有較顯著影響的因素進行深入的互動探討,並加入其它非經濟性的因素以提昇整體模型的解釋能力。
