摘要(英) This research using Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) to measure operating sales performance of the mainstream market’s car in the US. In addition, this study further use of bootstrapping (Bootstrap) productivity index for the McPherson sensitivity analysis in order to verify the stability of the productivity index. This research using 79 cars sells in the US from 2003 to 2012 for the study sample. The results show that all cars have a certain level of performance on performance, just need improve marginally. Pickup vehicles have average efficiency value than SUV, Minivans and Sedan / Hatchbacks. Under $20000 US dollars has relatively low efficient cars value. Technically there is not much progress, but showed deterioration. Finally, through the bootstrap method, the results can be more rigorous and credible, and thus can be estimated with reasonable statistical inference.
