本篇提出應用於毫米波系統之串聯式圓極化孔徑耦合天線陣列設計,提供第五代行動通訊使用。
本篇論文天線利用孔徑耦合方式饋入,將傳輸線與天線分層設計,使得在毫米波頻段能降低傳輸線輻射對場型的影響,天線使用矩型貼片天線,並以45°擺放,由於孔徑也參與輻射,因此在孔徑形狀上使用C型孔徑多加一段槽孔,讓天線物理尺寸長寬不同的情況下能產生圓極化,除此之外,此孔徑設計也能減小此天線在正下方(負Z方向)的輻射,避免能量的浪費,本論文使用國家晶片系統設計中心提供之RO4003高頻兩層板製程製作。
量測結果28 GHz單一圓極化孔徑耦合天線量測頻寬21 %,3-dB軸比頻寬5.9 %,增益為2.3 dBic,模擬前後比13 dB。28 GHz串聯式圓極化孔徑耦合四個天線單元陣列量測頻寬8.4 %,3-dB軸比頻寬16.6 %,增益為8.9 dBic,模擬前後比16 dB。
摘要(英) Abstract
In the thesis, the design of series-fed circularly polarized aperture-coupled antenna array for millimeter-wave applications is proposed to provide the 5th generation wireless systems. The proposed antenna is fed by the aperture coupling method. The transmission line and the antenna are designed in opposite sides of the ground plane, so that the influence of the transmission line radiation on the pattern can be reduced in the millimeter wave band. The antenna uses a rectangular patch antenna, and the aperture also participates in radiation. The C-shaped aperture is added with an additional slot in the aperture shape, so that the antenna can produce circular polarization when the physical size of the antenna is different in length and width. In addition, this aperture design can also reduce the antenna Backward (negative Z direction) radiation to avoid waste of energy. This paper uses the RO4003 high-frequency two-layer board process provided by the National Chip Implementation Center.
The measured impedance bandwidth of the 28 GHz single circularly polarized aperture-coupled antenna is 21 %, the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 5.9 %, the gain is 2.3 dBic, and the simulated front-to-back ratio is 13 dB. The measured impedance bandwidth of the 28 GHz series-fed four-elements circularly polarized aperture-coupled antenna array is 8.4 %, the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 16.6 %, the gain is 8.9 dBic, and the simulated front-to-back ratio is 16 dB.
