The differential transmission system are widely used in the vehicle industry, Due to the speed and torque distribution of the differential, the vehicle can turn more smoothly. With the development of science and technology, in order to cope with the different types of encountered situations during driving, the development of differentials has also been proposed one after another. There are traditional differentials, limited slip differential, Torsen differentials, active differentials, and clutch differentials, etc. Therefore, this study aims to establilsh KISSsoft analysis models for a traditional differential system designed by the cooperation vehicle manufacturer, to analyze and evaluate whether the gear strength, shaft deformation and bearing life meet the design requirements and safety specifications. In addition, the dynamic responses simulated by the established multi-body dynamics (MBD) analysis model under the impact of unexpected situations are imported into KISSsoft model to analyze the effects on gear strength and bearing life. |
