    Abstract: 全球衛星定位服務目前在各領域已被普遍使用,而應用在交通運輸上意在取得即時之交通訊息。由於校車是固定路線、單一班次、無前車資訊之通勤車輛,對於搭乘校車之使用者而言,即時資訊的掌握更為重要,若能提供即時資訊便能減少等候時間的不確定性,乘客也可在掌握充分資訊下規劃行程。本研究透過全球衛星定位技術,以獲得即時資訊,再利用無線整合封包數據服務的通訊技術,將定位資訊傳輸至資料庫中,結合語音系統作為提供即時資訊的管道,實作出一個回報完整的動態資訊系統。校車的路線包含國道高速公路與市區道路兩種,由於在國道高速公路部份無停靠站,因此推估到站時間的方法以切割路段作依據,利用GPS即時回傳的時間與位置,從歷史資料庫中尋找各路段間相同的資料,並推估下一到站時間,直至終點站為止。經由實際測試發現,此系統能即時回報各到站時間,而每個停靠站之誤差時間皆在6分鐘之內,播報時在系統中將此誤差考慮進去,讓乘客更能得知正確的資訊。未來可利用資料融合方法將有用的交通參數納入考量,讓路段資訊更加完整。 The Global Positioning System (GPS) has become a widely used aid to navigation worldwide, and useful tool for transportation science to gather real time references. As far as commuters are concerned, appeared real time information from routed bus helps them greatly to alleviate uncertainty of waiting time and scheduling problem. Therefore, a proper dynamic information reporting system retrieving from GPS-based database, which is transmitted by General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and is demonstrated with broadcasting systems, is necessary for commuters’ decision-making. Generally, bus routes both in urban area and in freeway, however, the latter is express form so that it is necessary to divide the path from origin to destination into sections to estimate individual arrival time in order to minimize the deviation. According to real time information of routing bus by GPS, the estimated arrival time to destination can be predicted. The system is proved to return the real time information within an error which is limited in 6 minutes for each one section, and provides those errors for commuters while broadcasting. In the future, data fusion techniques will be applied to improve accuracy of the information under available traffic parameters.
