    Title: 虛擬實境手部功能訓練系統 之設計開發與成效探討之研究;The Study of Design, Development and Result For Virtual Reality-Based Hand Function Training System

    Abstract: 由於人口結構的高齡化與意外事故的影響,患有行動障礙、行動不便的病患越來越多,使得復健診療的需求日益迫切。隨著科技的進步,各項嶄新的資訊科技已逐漸被使用於臨床診療或訓練,對復健成效的輔助或改善具備顯著效果。本研究整合虛擬實境、機電設計,以及資料庫管理等專業知識與技術,設計開發了一套手部功能訓練系統。此系統結合了自行開發的資料手套、市售的磁力式空間定位儀,以及虛擬實境抓放訓練場景,讓使用者穿戴資料手套進行各項手部功能的訓練,而使用者的操作動作可傳入個人電腦,用資料庫進行儲存以便進行追蹤與分析。 虛擬實境手部功能訓練系統中設計了操作提示功能,在本研究中比較了聲音與觸覺兩種操作提示方式,在不同訓練難度的條件下,對使用者的操作表現所產生的影響。實驗結果發現觸覺回饋在高難度的操作條件下,的確能夠增進使用者的操作表現。此外於本研究並針對不同的視覺顯像裝置,包括單槍投影機、電腦螢幕與頭盔顯示器等,探討使用者在不同條件下的手部抓放訓練表現。實驗結果發現,在使用投影機或電腦螢幕的情境下,若加入不同角度的側面影像有助於減少操作過程中使用者的手掌與非目標區域的碰撞次數,而使用頭盔顯示器則無明顯差異。 最後則結合資料庫管理與網路傳輸技術,以本研究所開發的虛擬實境手部功能訓練系統為範例,建構了一個可提供遠距訓練的示範環境。此環境可擴充結合不同的電腦化測試或訓練系統,協助病患更便利的進行各項訓練課程,為提升復健診療的品質與成效提供一份助力。 The purpose of the present study is to assess the influence of auditory and haptic cues on the manipulation performance in virtual reality-based hand rehabilitation system. Thirty healthy, non-disabled right-handed volunteers were recruited to take a hand-eye coordination test. The test is a pick-and-place procedure, with three levels of difficulty and four feedback modes. From the experimental results and statistical analysis it can be concluded that the haptics is a significant cue in manipulating a virtual reality-based hand rehabilitation system at high level of difficulty. Another twelve volunteers were recruited to take the same pick-and-place procedure at different levels of difficulty. The purpose of this experiment is to assess the effect of an auxiliary lateral image and display devices on manipulation performance in a virtual reality-based hand rehabilitation system. For this study, a projector, a monitor, and a head-mounted display were respectively used as the display devices to present three- dimensional virtual environments. It was found that the presence of an auxiliary lateral image was a significant factor only for the performance of the projector group and the monitor group. In addition, no statistically significant difference was found in the comparison between the projector group and the monitor group.
