It is found that the water content influence the rising velocity of the larger bead. The velocity of the larger bead increase with the addition of a small amount of water .In this case, the small amount of water produces a lubrication effect, resulting from the enhancement of the convection motions of the beads. For the case of large amount of liquid, the water produces the viscous force due to liquid viscosity between the liquid and particles and causes the decrease of the rising velocity of the larger bead.
