    Abstract: 中壢特高頻雷達使用於大氣科學的研究,已有相當久的歷史。觀測的課題包含低層大氣的大氣風場、降水環境特性、對流層頂、亂流結構、重力波等;高層大氣電離層E層、F層電子密度不規則體特性、流星尾特性與應用於中氣層中性風場等。於上述的研究領域,中壢特高頻雷達的特性將影響所蒐集觀測實驗的品質,進而決定研究成果的質量。本研究計畫將嘗試了解大氣環境對雷達系統的影響,特別是對環境影響與改變最大的降水環境。研討降水回波的特性,進一步分析與校正VHF雷達系統的狀態。尤其,雷達天線陣列直接暴露在研究環境中,降水環境下的天線陣列場場型是否受影響。The Chung-Li VHF radar system has been used in study of atmosphere science research for quite a long time. The studies of observation from the Chung-Li radar system consist of many different topics, such as atmosphere wind field measurement at lower atmosphere, the characteristics study of precipitation environment, the Tropopause measurement, study of the turbulence structure and analysis of the Gravity wave. The quality of those experiment data collected will depend on the characteristics the VHF radar system. The quality of those final research reports are also affected by the radar performance. This project will try to evaluate the influence on radar system due to change of atmosphere environment. The precipitation variation is the most important factor that makes the atmosphere environment different. The radar system may be further calibrated from the characteristics study of the precipitation returned echoes. Our research will be focused on whether the antenna array pattern will change or not under different precipitation. 研究期間 : 9808 ~ 9907
