    Abstract: Alumina(Al2O3), magnesia-alumina (MgO . Al2O3) and alumina-aluminum phosphate (AAP) were used as the matrics of FCC catalysts. The results show that MgO . Al2O3 gives the highest metal-resistant capability. There is an interaction between vanadium and nickel. Nickel can inhibit the vanadium's ability to destruct USY zeolite crystal structure. The coke formation by vanadium and nickel is not synergistic.
