    Abstract: A new frequency-tracking technique has been implemented in a phase-modulated fiber-optic gyroscope for optical path-length change detection. It is based on the time-delay modulation effect in a fiber-optic gyroscope. The temperature sensor as well as the frequency-stabilization system are demonstrated successfully by employing this technique.
