    Abstract: The interferometric method is used for testing aspheric surfaces. A new modified Fizeau-type interferometric set-up is proposed. The main feature of this set-up is to put a thin glass plate close to the focal point of the converging lens, therefore a good plane wave can be obtained to reconstruct the CGH to get ideal reconstructed waveforms. Experimental results and aberration influence of the thin glass plate were analyzed and presented.
