    Abstract: 近十年來,美日歐等先進國家積極投入流動式顆粒床高溫廢氣淨化系統之研發,可為未來相當具有潛力的過濾系統之ㄧ。然而此過濾系統利用顆粒的流動來攔阻及移除燃氣中的粉塵,因此在設計流動式顆粒床前需進行濾材顆粒的流動性質量測。而流動性質量測所得之數據經過換算分析乃為設計流動式顆粒床的重要參數。 本研究以Jenike直接剪力測試儀器量測顆粒在不同的粒徑、壁面、垂直應力及顆粒條件下的流動性質,如壁面摩擦角與內部摩擦角,以提供未來在設計流動式顆粒床系統上能有一參考。 Recent analyses suggest that ceramic candle barrier filters and granular moving bed filters are the most promising approaches to hot gas cleanup for advanced coal gasification technologies (IGCC). Ceramic barrier filters have several disadvantages: they must be periodically cleaned (blow back) to remove accumulated dust; they are fragile; they have low filtration velocity; and they are expensive. Granular bed filters are attractive for hot gas filtration because they employ low cost filter media. Granular moving bed filters have been developed in several different geometries. These can be roughly characterized as parallel flow, counter-current flow, and cross flow filters. Flow properties of filter media are key factors in high efficiency performance of granular moving bed filter. Silica sands of different particle sizes were tested in Jenike shear device and internal friction has been measured. The wall friction angles of silica sands have been measured on stainless steel and carbon steel surfaces. Results of measurements will be exploited for design of mass flow hoppers and filter vessel of two stage granular moving bed filter.
