    Title: 雙塔式真空變壓吸附法濃縮二氧化碳之研究

    Abstract: 動力工廠燃燒石化燃料所產生的二氧化碳是造成溫室效應的主因;因此,如何回收工廠所排放出來的二氧化碳將是解決二氧化碳問題的首要步驟。 本研究利用雙塔真空變壓吸附程序(VSA)來回收高純度的二氧化碳,進料為20%二氧化碳和80%氮氣的混合氣體,吸附劑採用活性碳(activated carbon)及13X沸石(13X zeolite)。藉由實驗方式探討雙塔式真空變壓吸附程序,並在不同操作變數下,討論活性碳與13X沸石對產物濃度、產物回收率的影響;結果發現:13X沸石的濃縮效果比活性碳好,產物最終濃度可達96%,而回收率也高達98%。 The emission of CO2 from power plants that burn fossil fuels is the major cause for the greenhouse effect. The recovery of CO2 from flue gas is the first important step in solving CO2 problem. The dual-bed vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) process for recovering of CO2 with activated carbon and 13X zeolite as adsorbents is chosen in this study. The feed gas consists of 20% CO2 and 80% N2. The dual-bed VSA process is explored by experiments. The influence of operation parameters on the purity of product and recovery is studied respectively for activated carbon and 13X zeolite. The final purity of CO2 can reach 96% by using 13X zeolite at higher recovery (98%) than activated carbon.
