    Abstract: We have synthesized (Tby)(3)Al5O12:Ce,Gd (YAG:Ce,Gd) phosphors by substituting Tb3+ on Y3+ sites and investigated their luminescent properties. Moreover, a novel combination of the BaF2/H3BO3 flux is used for the preparation of (Tb,Y)(3)Al5O12:Ce phosphor
