    摘要: We calculate the unpolarized angular distributions of emitted photons of bremsstrahlung from atoms with atomic number Z = 13 and 79 for incident electrons of low kinetic energy T1 = 0.5, 1, and 5 keV. It is an exact nonrelativistic calculation in a partial-wave formulation. Our results show that the shape of the angular distributions is symmetric for emitted photons, which is the feature of the dipole approximation. The atomic-electron screening effect on the bremsstrahlung energy spectrum dsigma(k) increases as T1 and the ratio k/T1 of photon energy k to T1 decrease and as Z increases. The screening effect changes the shape of the angular distribution but preserves its symmetric feature. When the screening effect is important, the dependence of the shape on k/T1 decreases. Our results indicate that at low T1 the higher-multipole and relativistic correction factor to the nonrelativistic photon angular cross section is approximately (1 - beta1 cos theta(k))-2 for the point-Coulomb potential case, which is the result also obtained in Born approximation as k/T1 = 0. The nonrelativistic dipole results become better when the screening effect is more important.
