    Abstract: The experimental data of the high-energy x-ray structure factors for single-crystal silicon are reanalyzed, taking the contributions of the multipole, retardation, and relativistic effects into account, to obtain the real part of the anomalous scattering factor f' of the element. Theoretical calculations that integrate the dispersion integral up to 1 MeV are also performed. Good agreement between theory and experiment is observed.
