摘要: | 台灣於1996年參與美國太空總署之環太平洋合成孔徑雷達計畫,得到了相當豐富的資料.這不只是得到相當難得的台灣地區全偏極及干涉合成孔徑雷達資料,更是為了參與美國太空總署的後續計畫做準備.在過去幾年,這些資料已提供給相關研究單位做研究之用,而本中心也利用這些資料完成了許多研究.這些研究包括了全偏極雷達資料的特性研究、地表覆蓋物分類、反演土壤含水量等研究.目前,新的計畫-環太平洋合成孔徑雷達計畫-II將要開始執行.台灣也參與了本次的計畫.本次計畫所獲得的資料除了原有的全偏極及干涉合成孔徑雷達資料外,還包括了超光譜資料.這次的資料可用來與過去的資料進行地表覆蓋物、地形及林地等變遷偵測.尤其,中台灣在經過九二一大地震後,對地形及地表覆蓋物造成了很大的變化.因此,在規劃本次的實驗區時,特別將中台灣災區納入.而其他的實驗區則包括了台灣西海岸、高雄及墾丁等,這些實驗區的資料將用於地表覆蓋物、海面散射場及森林分析等研究. In 1996, We participated the NASA/JPL PACRIM-I mission to acquire the polarimetric and interferometric SAR data of Taiwan. It is of both symbolistic and substantial importance for Taiwan to join such international remote sensing campaign, especially in such a hard political stance. The benefit of Taiwan's participation is not only to obtain such data but also to preserve the chance for participating the follow-up international missions. Data acquired in 1996 have been distributed to public for related studies. Researchers at the Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research in NCU, Taiwan are also using the data to study the properties of polarization and phase of polarimetric SAR, the landcover classification of polarimetric SAR data, and the retrieve of water-contain of soil from polarimetric SAR. In 2000, the follow-up mission, PACRIM-II, is under planning. Taiwan is invited to participate the mission. In addition to polarimetric and interferometric SAR system, a new sensor, 50-band hyperspectral scanner, is added The polarimetric and interferometric SAR data could be used for detecting the change of landcover, digital terrain model, and forest. The planned test sites are West Coast, Kao-Hsiung, and Ken-Ting, and Mid Taiwan. These sites are designed for monitoring the landcover, sea-surface, and forest.
