    摘要: 本整合計畫考量FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC衛星計畫科學研究目標,配合NSPO規劃FORMOSAT-3 IOP任務,成立氣象研究團隊,組成整合計畫進行研究。本整合研究計畫共分6個子計畫, 除了配合IOP,進行FORMOSAT-3大氣探空觀測實驗以直接校驗模式預報並得以驗証GPS掩星資料反演之正確性,亦進行IOP資料同化對區域預報模式(WRF及NFS)影響之評估研究,同時了解FORMOSAT-3 IOP對CWB全球模式分析與預報之影響,而且亦探討此IOP資料對東?夏季季風系統研究與對東?地區梅雨研究的影響評估與分析應用。因此,本研究計畫從區域天氣乃至大東亞環流,從GPS掩星資料對區域天氣預報及全球分析及預報的影響之評估及實際即時天氣預報之應用需求,皆已妥善規劃並加以整合,使各子計畫間得以互相支援。本總計畫將成立計畫辦公室,旨在督導子計畫進行研究任務工作、舉辦例行性月報會議進行工作檢討、協調現場實驗及即時預報作業及整合各子計畫人力資源及支援大型電腦需求。基於IOP之特性,本辦公室擬聘一博士後研究員(作業中),使用建置的MM5 4DVAR來同化GPS 掩星資料進行影響評估研究。本整合計畫的研究成果將於期末舉行的IOP成果發表會進行專題報告,並專文投稿發表於SCI期刊。 The integrated project follows the main scientific goals of the FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC program and will collaborate to move with the projection of the IOP campaign, by forming a meteorological research term in an integrated program that consists of six subprograms. The integrated project will be to conduct a field experiment for directly verifying model prediction and validating the accuracy of retrieved GPS RO data, to assess the impact of the FORMOSAT-3 IOP data on weather prediction by regional models (WRF and NFS), to illustrate the influence of the IOP data on CWB GFS analysis as well as prediction, and to investigate the impact of the IOP data on improving our understanding of the East-Asia monsoon and Mei-Yu front. Thus, the integrated project covers from regional weather to large-scale East-Asia circulation, from impact of the GPS RO data on regional weather prediction to global analysis and prediction, and the application to real-time weather prediction, all under reasonable coordination with vivid supports among the subprograms. The general program will operate a project office and will supervise the research direction of each subprogram, hold monthly progress report meetings and coordinate the field experiment and the real-time prediction experiment, and manipulate the available manpowers and larger computer resources. With the IOP advantage, the office has been recruiting a postdoctor to conduct MM5 4DVAR to assimilate GPS RO data for studying the impact on weather prediction, in particular for typhoons impinging Taiwan area. The accomplishment of the integrated project will be reported in the IOP workshop late in the next year and the results will be published in SCI journals. 研究期間:9412 ~ 9511
