    摘要: 楊樹達(1885.6.1-1956.2.14),湖南長沙人。字遇夫,號積微,晚年更號耐林翁,為近代重要的漢語語言文字學家。其一生著作甚多,內容包含輯錄解釋古書類、語法修辭類、校勘考證類、文字訓詁類、甲文類、金文類等,洋洋灑灑,共計二十餘冊。在楊樹達所涉獵的研究中,楊氏以為其學術成就當以小學為第一,且後世學者亦較為關注其文字訓詁方面的研究,但可惜至今尚未有深入性的專著或學位論文產生,是以筆者遂以「楊樹達文字形義理論初探」為題,探討楊氏於文字訓詁學上的成就與貢獻。 本文主要的內容分為六章;第一章為緒論,主要在說明筆者之所以擇取楊樹達文字訓詁學方面的研究成果作為探討對象的原因,與後人對楊氏學術研究的概況。第二章旨在述說楊樹達的生平、著作,及其於研究文字訓詁學的背景資料。第三章著重在討論楊樹達對漢字的起源、發展與價值的看法。第四章所論述的是楊樹達的六書理論,即是有關漢字「形學」方面的研究。第五章主要是在討論楊樹達在訓詁學方面的學術成果,亦即是有關漢字「義學」方面的研究。然而因為楊氏在義學的討論上主要以「語源」的探求為其核心,因此筆者即以「楊樹達的語源學」作為探討的焦點。第六章為本文的結論,是筆者在前文研究的基礎上,驗證後世對楊樹達的評價是否公正,並總結楊樹達在文字訓詁學領域中的開創性貢獻。 Yang, Shu-da (1885-1956), born at Chan Sa, the Hu Nan province, is an important linguist and character-expert of Han language in previous century. His mighty achievement of his research is reflected in his numerous and various works, including classics-translating, rhetoric researching, scholiastic researching, oracle-character researching, and character of bronze-inscription researching. Among all fields of his researching, Yang, Shu-da agrees that the most vital success part is his character researching. Unfortunately, there aren’t any probing and in-depth essays and monographs in respect of this part. Therefore, this article will focus on the issue as the title presents: A Tentative Probe into Yang, Shu-da’s theories of characters, Writing physique and semantics. The content of this thesis will be divided into six chapters: the first chapter, the exordium, will explain why I choose this topic to discuss, and survey the other scholars’ criticism about Yang’s works. The second chapter will focus on the background of Yang’s biography and his researching. Chapter Three will stress on Yang’s opinions about the Han characters. In Chapter Four, we will discuss the effort of Yang’s theory about the six categories of Chinese characters, that is the researching about the pictograph. In Chapter Five, the achievement of Yang’s Scholiastic researching will be discussed. Because the Yang’s Scholiastic researching is based on the etymology; the Yang’s theory of etymology will be highlighted as well. Finally, Chapter Six will be the conclusion, summarizing the groundbreaking contribution of Yang’s effort.
