    Title: 北港重力高區之研究;The Gravity Study in Peikang High Area

    Abstract: 在台灣布蓋異常圖中,西部澎湖-雲嘉地區明顯存在一重力高區。而東沙-澎湖隆起呈ENE走向,橫亙於台灣海峽的中、南部,長200公里以上,寬約50公里。在本研究主要範圍是在北緯23度~24度,東經119.3度~120.7度,也就是澎湖隆起及北港隆起的部分,並加以探討雲嘉地區陸上部分。 因此,為了解北港高區下的地下構造形貌,本研究藉由對重力資料的處理分析,進而推求地下密度構造的分佈。在進行密度構造推演時,需要先給定一個初始模型,將此模型所得到的理論重力值和觀測重力值做比對,經反覆修改,最後得到合理的模型且符合重力觀測值。本研究進行三維的地下構造模擬,其初始模型參考全台三維速度構造(Kim et al., 2005 and Wu et al., 2007)並配合地質資料,希望可以得到較合理的地下構造和了解造成北港高區的原因。 結果顯示澎湖-雲嘉地區存在一個大範圍的重力高區,其重力高區可以由義竹斷層作為南界,且此重力高區的走向大致上是跟中生代地層的走向一致。在關仔嶺及其周圍會有高異常的原因,是因為木屐寮斷層及六甲斷層開始有岩層劇烈抬升,使得上新世及中新世地層接近地表,而在觸口斷層東側因逆衝作用將中新世及中生代地層往上帶的緣故,使得此區域會呈現一個相對高異常的現象。In the gravity anomaly map of Taiwan, the trends are generally in consonance with the structural trends. The gravity lows are found in Taichung basin and Pingtung area. The gravity highs are found in Peikang area, Taitung area and Hengchun peninsula. I will talk about Peikang area. In order to understand the cause, we use the gravity anomaly values to get the reliable subsurface density structure. The steps will not stop till the value of calculated gravity anomaly fits the value of observed gravity anomaly data. About the assumption of the initial density model, we use the converted formula (Barton, 1986) to convert the tomography model in center Taiwan by Kim et al. (2005) and Wu et al. (2007). The result shows Mesozoic sediments existing beneath the penghu area, and it extends along with the depth to the east. It is the cause of the highest gravity anomalies in Taiwan.
