    Abstract: 染料敏化太陽能電池是藉由共軛分子或金屬錯合物來敏化無機半導體所製成的太陽能電池,其具有可撓性、低成本、原料取得廣泛、及加工容易等優點成為現階段太陽能電池研究的重點之一。本研究計畫將包含三部分:第一部分為設計合成含COOH 官能基之有機染料分子(通常是共軛分子,也可能延伸至金屬錯合物或高分子金屬錯合物),並探討其性質與應用在太陽能電池上的可能性。隨著可移動電子元件追求輕薄短小的時代趨勢,電池的體積也得跟著減小,如此一來,固態電解質電池就成為電池設計上最順理成章的一條路,我們將以多孔性高分子為主體來製備高導電度電解質,對染料敏化太陽能電池而言,電解質也是電洞傳遞層,因此高電荷傳導速率的共軛分子為主要的研究目標,此部分研究的極終分子設計原則就是將電解質接在染料上,本計劃的第二個研究方向就是往這方向趨近。此外,要減小電子元件的體積除了把元件的體積真的縮小外,還可以將之做成可撓曲性元件,此領域成功與否的關鍵瓶頸之一為製備具高導電度的可撓曲性電極。因此在本計劃的第三部分,我們將利用控制介面的簡單化學聚合方法來製備具高導電度的共軛高分子薄膜,以做為可撓式電子元件的電極。 The objectives of this proposal include three parts: The first: Synthesis, characterization and application of new dyes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell. The second: Preparation of high conducting polymer electrolytes (or hole transport materials). The third: Fabrication of high conducting polymer electrodes. In the first part, low band-gap conjugated polymers containing carbonyl group and metal complexes with ligand bearing carbonyl group will be prepared and well-characterized. The solar cell using conjugated polymer or new metal complex dyes will be fabricated and the performance of the cell using new dyes as active components will be tested. In the second part, high ionic conducting solid electrolyte based the porous polymer matrix (or conjugated molecules with high charge transport rate) will be synthesized and well-characterized. The application of these polymer electrolytes on solar cell (may be include lithium ion batteryl and electrochromic devices) will be test. The third part of this proposal is the fabrication of high conducting conjugated polymer thin film for electrode application in flexible electronic devices. In the third part suitable additives will be put in the reaction media during chemical polymerization of aniline in acidic media. The additive will create an interface for the formation of order polymer chains, therefore the in-situ deposited polymer thin films will have good conductivity and conducting homogeneity. The highly conducting polymer thin films can be used as electrodes in various electronic devices, include flexible electronic devices. 研究期間:9608 ~ 9707
