    Abstract: 隨著數位時代來臨,數位電視憑藉較佳的訊號傳輸品質,突破傳統類比電視訊號易受地形干擾的缺失,並具備同頻寬卻可傳送更多節目的優點,正如行動通訊從第一代的類比式系統演進到第二代以語音為主和第三代能夠提供多媒體服務的數位式系統。近年來,由於數位廣播系統之技術日趨成熟,隨之2008 年奧運之帶動下,DVB-T/H 將迅速的被應用。另一個明日之星-汽車電子產業被歸類為繼3C 產業後新興起的第4C 產業,汽車業由機械工程發展至電子系統,為電子業創造了全新的領域。本計畫將以現有的DVB-T/H 系統為基礎與汽車電子化結合,進而延伸至 MIMO 系統下提出一DVB-V 之整合性前瞻通訊系統及其積體電路設計,理論與架構之探討與模擬。重點將放在通道編碼及快速演算法兩部份做深入研究。配合本計畫在第一階段以承接先前於DVB-T之研究能量進行MIMO系統之分析與評估。第二階段則將以強韌、低複雜度的通道編解碼及快速傅利葉為首要目標,進而發展低功率、高速之設計並將其矽智產模組化(intellectual property) 為最終目標。第三階段將導入內嵌式測試(BIST; Built-in Self-test)可測性之設計於 MIMO系統相關模組晶片測試之研究。本計畫將以三年完成高性能之MIMO 系統設計、雛形建立及晶片製作,進而制訂出適用於MIMO 系統下之DVB-V 相關規格。除了對電腦與通訊工業在技術上的直接助益外,研究過程中所獲得的經驗與成果亦將提供學術界對系統演算法及硬體設計方面之專才訓練。特別是在整體通訊系統之分析,系統架構制訂以至於系統技術之垂直整合及各子計劃間之水平整合的過程,將有助於使學術研究的成果落實於實際的應用中。 Digital TV provides the superior transmission quality to overcome the gross signal due to terrain in traditional analog TV system. The evolution of 1G system to 2G system provided the audio service, while the 3G system provides the digital service of multimedia. Recently, the digital broadcasting technique becomes mature. The service in DVB-T/H will be adopted with the Olympics in 2008. The Automotive Electronic incubates as a next 3C』s industry, called 4th C. The Automotive industry migration to electrical system raises the fresh period of electrical industry. The objective of the DVB-V project is to investigate the integration of the DVB-T/H system developed in our previous funded project to automotive electronics, and further extend the integration of MIMO system. The project will devise the algorithms, architectures, the VLSI implementation, and the system analysis. The focus of this sub-project is placed on channel coding and FFT architecture design. Based on the experience of DVB-T system development in the previously funded project, we will first evaluate and analyze the MIMO system. It is followed by developing robustness and low complexity channel coding and Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) algorithms and architectures. It is anticipated to achieve low power, high performance IP-based MIMO system module design. Finally, in order to enhance the testability and reliability, the BIST (Built-in Self-test) capacity will be embedded to the key modules in the DVB-V project. The research will greatly promote the synergy of digital broadcasting related system development in Taiwan. 研究期間:9608 ~ 9707
