    Abstract: 1948 年,Shannon 推導出單一使用者在加成性白高斯雜訊通道下的通道容量。然而,隨著無線通訊的發展,近年來行動通訊系統必須考量的工作環境顯得十分複雜;除了加成性白高斯雜訊外,亦須考量蜂巢架構、通道衰落、多天線環境、多使用者間干擾等等效應。本子計劃將藉由考量這些複雜的效應而推導出可能達成的通道容量區域。此容量區域可以當作分配無線資源(例如:頻譜、功率、子通道、天線)配置的依據,以預期求得更高的頻譜效率或最佳化的配置。在蜂巢式系統,訊號傳輸過程可以分類為多重存取通道以及廣播通道。目前,學術上有關於衰落通道容量探討,大多只侷限於雜訊效應的影響,本子計畫試圖將干擾(包含:多天線之間干擾、多重路徑干擾、子載波間干擾與多使用者之間干擾)的影響加入理論推導之中,以求實務地設計考量基於多使用者、多輸入多輸出、正交分頻多工系統之可能的下一世代行動通訊系統。在此系統設計同時,通道容量與頻譜效率分析為迫切需求的工作效能指標。 Claude Shannon derived the channel capacity bound for a single transmission link on an AWGN channel in 1948. Due to many successful research/developments and main trends of various wireless communication technologies in recent years, information transceiving technologies have been experiencing several challenges, e.g., time-varying fading, multipath fading/interference, multimedia traffic, multiple access interference and so on. In order to overcome the above-mentioned impairments, effective resource allocation techniques are highly desired in mobile communications for the purpose of efficiently utilizing very limited and valuable resources, e.g., power, bandwidth and antennas, in the wireless network. At the meanwhile, capacity regions/bounds on various conditions are highly desired to act as useful benchmarks of various derived resource allocation algorithms in terms of spectral efficiency. Transmission in a cellular network often can be categorized as (1) multiple access channel (MAC) and (2) broadcast channel (BC). Since 4th-Generation mobile communication systems should be based on mobile, multi-user MIMO-OFDM, capacity bounds/regions on either MAC or BC on time-varying, multipath fading channels will be evaluated/derived in this subproject for establishing various effective benchmarks of resource allocation algorithms/methods, e.g., dynamic subchannel allocation (DSA), adaptive power/bit allocation (APA) and antenna selection (AS). 研究期間:9608 ~ 9707
