亞洲大氣污染物(包含酸性污染物、亞洲沙塵、生質燃燒、大氣汞)的生成、排放、輸送、轉化等物理與化學過程相當複雜,加上其與區域氣候變化交織成熱門科學話題。事實上,亞洲大氣污染物長程傳送對台灣已形成相當衝擊,其對區域環境與氣候干擾亦可能間接影響台灣。吾人擬就本計畫第一期 (2003/8-2006/7)、第二期(2006/8-2009/7)所建構之軟硬體基礎,包含鹿林山大氣背景站(與環保署合作興建)、各項微量大氣化學監測技術(氣、固、液三相污染物)、大氣化學與雲模式、氣候統計與分析技術、遙測技術等,延伸研究內涵至第三期(2009/8-2012/7),新增東沙島觀測站,建立長期大氣化學與輻射地面監測即大氣遙測,海洋船籌載實驗,並結合與大氣化學與輻射模式模擬,提出三年整合計畫,探討亞洲大氣污染物之長程輸送與其對區域環境及氣候衝擊。此外,總計畫參與美國Navy 與 NASA 推動之7-SEAS(7 South East Asian Studies, 2008-2012)國際觀測實驗,就東南亞生質燃燒所引發之環境與區域氣候干擾做一整合研究。目前所提為第二、三年計畫,第一年計畫則合併7SEAS 實驗經費,目前已由環保署協助完成各單位協調,可望於2010/3-5 進行先期密集觀測。 The physical and chemical processes of formation, emission, transport and transformation of atmospheric pollutants including acid substances, Asian dust, biomass burning and atmospheric mercury in Asian region are very complicated, resulting in impact on regional environment and climate. Taiwan is also influenced by such impact in direct and indirect ways. Therefore, this proposed study (2009/8-2012/7) will continue the Phases I (2003/8-2006/7) and II(2006/8-2009/7), and to integrate ground-based measurements, remote sensing observation, climatic dynamic analysis, and model simulation in order to analyze the physiochemical processes during the long-range transport of above atmospheric pollutants, and further to assess their impact on regional climate. Besides, we will collaborate with USA Navy and NASA’s 7-SEAS (7 South East Asian Studies) for investigating the impact of biomass burning of Southeast Asia in order to study the impact of atmospheric pollutants and biomass burning of the South Asia. Meanwhile, we propose to establish the Dongsha Island as an atmospheric environmental and radiation observation platform, and the atmospheric chemistry measurements on the research vessel. This is the second- and third-year proposal of the Phase III. The Taiwan 7SEAS proposal of 2009 has been merged to this grand proposal. With the help of Taiwan EPA, the 7SEAS 2010 spring campaign will be conducted. 研究期間:9908 ~ 10007
