    摘要: LED因具有體積小、壽命長、操作反應快、可靠度高、高發光效率、色彩飽和的優點,加上無含汞符合環保要求,LED已是未來二十一世紀兼具節能與環保之照明光源。LED晶片之發光效率,一直逐年在快速的提升中,達到每瓦200流明的終極目標可望在數年後達到,屆時LED光源便會成為最普遍使用之照明光源。然而,若將LED應用於照明系統中,仍有光學效率及散熱的兩大問題,有鑑於此,我們結合在LED領域中多位具有專長教授之研究能量,提出了一個整合型的計畫,以兼顧高光學效能表現之LED光源設計及照明應用和超低熱阻之封裝技術及量測分析方法為重點,以期早日達到以LED光源全面取代傳統照明器具之目標。於本計畫中,我們將發展在LED照明光學級為重要的高效率折射式散射元件,藉由極為精密的微透鏡設計來設計效率最高可達92%之散射元件,並結合晶盛材料特有的玻璃燒結之三維等比縮小之技術,克服作難度極高的製程問題,以製作散射片之模仁。本計畫的成果將可發展出任意調制光型的高效率散射元件,將可應用於LED照明的混光與均光應用上,使LED照明燈具能免於高度眩光危機並同時達到極高的光學效率,使得高品質的LED燈具真正能具有高的能源效率。 LED have been regarded as the most possible new light source in the next-generation lighting owing to its small volume, long life, fast response, high reliability, high efficiency, high color purity and environmental benefit. Recently, the luminous efficiency has been dramatically increased owing to many efforts in material engineering. So most people believe that the luminous efficiency may reach 200 lm/W in several years, and then LEDs should replace most light sources in the world. However, how to improve the optical efficiency and dissipate the heat, are two important issues that still wait for more creative solution in LED lighting system. Therefore, we propose such an integration project, where three professors in different optics, material and heat engineering in LED research join together to achieve high-efficiency LED lighting. In this sub-project, we will study the high-efficiency refractive type diffuser, which is very important in LED lighting. We start from the optical design of the micro-lens to achieve the efficiency as high as 92% of the diffuser. Then Cristal Material Co. will apply shrinkage technique in glass sintering process to fabricate the mould of the component, which is very difficult to make in general approaches. The achievement in this project will benefit the LED lighting in providing high-efficiency lighting mixing and high uniformity. Such a component can enable the LED lighting to perform high-efficiency non-glare illumination and then the high-quality LED lighting can be really in high efficiency. 研究期間:9901 ~ 9912
