    Abstract: 中央大學高能實驗組自公元2000年參與CMS實驗。在過去10年中,我們建造了CMS的前置簇射探測器(Preshower),並主導了其DCS系統的設計與建造。Preshower探測器於2009年建造完成,並於3月份安裝置CMS中。同時,LHC與2009年12月開始進行質子質子碰撞。據此,我們的中心工作將由硬體建造轉為維護及物理分析。本計畫將進行三項主要的工作。第一是持續操作並維護Preshower的DCS系統。第二是在LHC的碰撞數據中測量QCD光子截面。第三是進行W/Z終態的研究。我們預期將很快在物理分析上獲得重要的成果。 The NCU HEP group has been a member of the CMS collaboration for 10 years. We have successfully participated in the construction of the CMS Preshower detector, and have since become the leading group on the DCS (Detector Control System) of the Preshower hardware. During 2009, we have finished the construction and installation of the Preshower detector. In the mean time, LHC has started physics run at the end of the year. This marks a new phase of our research in the CMS. Our central work will move from hardware oriented activities to physics analysis. In the proposal, we propose to carry out three top level tasks. First, we will continue the operation and maintenance of the Preshower DCS. Secondly, we will carry out the measurement of QCD photon productions in LHC proton-proton collisions. The third task is to study the W/Z final states in LHC. We expect to obtain important physics results with the first year’s data from LHC. 研究期間:9908 ~ 10007
