唐人小說是中國文人有意識創作小說之始,雖然它們不是以家庭為主題的敘事作品,但其內容或多或少涉及婚姻、家庭的描寫,實已具備明清「家庭小說」的因子。本文以唐人小說為研究材料,藉由敘事分析和比對小說與其他史料對唐代家庭描述之異同,期望能在並未形成家庭類別傳統的唐人小說中挖掘出更多具備家庭因子的敘事,進而呈現唐代的家庭樣貌及其可能反映的唐人家庭觀。 本論文共分六章。第一章講述研究動機、研究材料和範圍、研究方法及前人研究概況。第二章論述構成家庭的兩項要素:婚姻與血緣。第三章針對夫婦、親子和手足倫理進行探討。第四章討論家庭中的衝突原因及結果。第五章探討家庭危機及重整。第六章針對唐人小說中所反映的家庭樣貌進行總結。 對唐人而言,人不是以個體存在,而是以家庭的一份子存在的。因此,唐人不僅要求婚配的對象要能「合二姓之好」,他們對於家庭中每一個角色的倫理要求也都是以家庭和睦與興盛為前提的。 Tang Novels were the very beginning of conspicuous works by Chinese literators. Although they were not family-focused literatures, the contents covered more or less marital and family description truly qualified them with the factors as “Family Novel” in Ming Dynasty and Chin Dynasty. This thesis took Tang Novels as study materials, through the literal analysis and comparison between novels and historical articles about Tang Dynasty’s families, hoping to carry out more qualified elements for Family factor from the traditional Tang Novels which were not yet categorized as family section, and furthermore presenting the family features and the reflections of Tang’s family value. This article has divided into six chapters. Chapter I describes the study motivation, materials, scopes, research methods and a general introduction of former studies. Chapter II describes the two essential elements to form a family, marriage and blood relationship. Chapter III explores the ethics among couples, parent-child, brothers and sisters. Chapter IV discusses the conflict reasons and results in families. Chapter V talks about family crisis and rebuilt. Chapter VI summarizes the reflections of family features from the Tang Novels. As for the people of Tang Dynasty, a man exits as a member of the family but an individual. Therefore, Tang people not only propose their marital candidate to be perfect matched with their names, but also require each role in their families with the ethics of taking harmony and prosperity of family as first priority.
