    Abstract: 本研究將具有溴官能基的馬來醯亞胺 (MI) 與苯乙烯 (Styrene)進行自由基聚合 (FRP) 合成交替型共聚物 (Alternating copolymers),接著利用原子轉移自由基聚合法 (ATRP) 接枝具磺酸根的單體,並且導入了雙馬來醯亞胺 (BMI) 及三馬來醯亞胺 (Tri-MI) 作為交聯劑,合成出新穎具交聯結構接枝型高分子薄膜。此系列薄膜成功的降低高溫下吸水膨潤比與尺寸變化率過高的情況,並在操作溫度 25 ℃ 下,質子傳導度平均可達 10-2 S/cm,具有成為新型燃料電池之質子交換膜的潛力。 The proton-conducting graft copolymer membranes were prepared by two-step synthesis. Firstly, free radical alternating copolymerization of styrene and N-[2-(2-bromoisobutyryloxy)ethyl]maleimide (BiBEMI) gave a macroinitiator. Secondly, grafting poly(Potassium 3-sulfopropyl methacrylate) chains from the macroinitiator by ATRP. Via crosslinking with BMI and Tri-MI, the dimensional stability of the membrane was effectively improved. The membranes exhibit high conductivity of 10-2 S/cm at 25 oC、100 % RH. Particularly, one of series membrane exhibit low swelling ratio (35 % deformation) at 80 ℃、100 % RH. The results exhibit these ionomer membranes has the potential to become new type proton exchange membranes in fuel cell.
