本篇論文主要利用變換光學的理論來設計有凹透鏡、凸透鏡作用的平面圓柱波轉換器,以及達到完全透明的透明護罩。我們找到在TM波 (磁場在z方向)模態下之非磁性晶體光學參數和變換光學轉換函數的對應,並利用單軸晶體來實現非磁性隱形斗篷。最後, 我們以一個光偏移器的設計來闡述以變換光學的角度去看一個元件設計問題,而不以傳統的晶體光學的角度看此同一問題所得到的好處。 In this thesis we use transformation optics theory to design two kinds of planar- to-cylindrical wave translators, one works like concave lens and the other like convex lens. We find the relations between the crystal optics parameters and the coordinate transformation functions in the TM mode (the electric field lies on the x-y plane) case, and find the way for designing non-magnetic invisibility cloak using uniaxial crystals. Finally, as an example, we use the design of a wave bender to explain the advantages of designing devices using the concepts of transformation optics instead of solving the same problem using the traditional concepts of crystal optics.
