In the process of reading for learning, learners not only read the main textbooks, but also edit to produce a variety of related information, such as: concept maps, key notes, question sets and slides, etc. These related information and documents constructed by learners are often dispersed, and the learners can not establish the correlation between the content of textbooks and the related information. In the reading for learning and review process, in order to integrate and review all previously learned content, learners have to re-construct the correlation between the content of textbooks and the related information that they produced before again and again. So learners must take time to compare, organize, and integrate the content of textbooks with those related information that scattered in different places. However, these works will create an additional load on learners, especially when learners use a Tablet PC or e-book which with only a single screen to read. This study proposes a Sliding Grid Content Switch Model E-book System to help learners to use e-book reader in the learning process. Learners can establish the correlation between the content of textbooks and the related information, and quickly switch to the different related documents. We refer to the SQ3R reading strategy and ASOIM model, and simulate a set of reading strategy steps. According to this set of reading strategy steps, we decide that our system can help users to establish the correlation between the content of textbooks and which related document formats. We held an experiment to evaluate the user-friendliness and learning effect of our system. The result tell us that using our system certainly brings help to the users in the process of reading for learning, and users do have a deeper impression of the content of textbooks and related information.
