    Abstract: 依照瀝青混凝土施工溫度之不同,可簡單區分為熱拌瀝青混凝土(HMA)、溫拌瀝青混凝土 (WMA)與冷拌瀝青混凝土(CMA),此次計畫主要針對溫拌瀝青混凝土與冷拌瀝青之泡沫瀝青混凝土之效益做個探討。溫拌瀝青混凝土相較於熱拌瀝青混凝土拌合施工溫度約降低30℉~100℉(16 ℃~56℃),泡沫瀝青混凝土在高熱能的瀝青添加一定比例的水,使水氣急速汽化,體積大量膨脹,黏度相對較低,其兩種混凝土在拌合及施工溫度上可大幅降低環境負擔以及達到節能減碳之效果。溫拌瀝青以添加Sasobit 添加劑製成溫拌瀝青混凝土,其添加劑主要性質為使膠結材料黏度降低,這可以使生產溫度約降低12℃,如此可使溫拌瀝青混凝土有較佳抗車轍能力,再針對不同添加劑之溫拌瀝青混凝土進行基本物性試驗與成效試驗,以確定其可行性評估。泡沫瀝青工法(Foamed Bitumen Process)經濟效益較高且較為環保,其有效率之拌合工作及充分應用廢料,對整體環境具有相當大的節能減碳效益。泡沫瀝青的主要兩個參數為膨脹率和半衰期,膨脹率是指瀝青在發泡狀態下做大體積與發泡前的體積之比,半衰期是指泡沫瀝青以最大體積衰減至最大體積一半時所需的時間。膨脹比越大,泡沫瀝青與粒料的接觸就越充分,半衰期越長泡沫越不容易縮減,有較長時間可進行拌合,泡沫瀝青主要關鍵在於控制用水量而調和出最佳膨脹率及半衰期,以達較佳效益之泡沫瀝青混凝土。 The asphalt concrete can be classified to hot mix asphalt concrete (HMA), warm mix asphalt concrete (WMA), and cold mix asphalt concrete (CMA) according to the difference of their working temperature. This project is mainly about the benefit of the (WMA) and the foam mix asphalt concrete making of CMA. The WMA comparing with the HMA has a lower working temperature by 30℉~100 ℉(16℃~56℃). The foam mix asphalt concrete is to add a fixed ratio of water to asphalt containing high heat energy, making the steam rapidly vaporize, thereby the volume will expand and the viscosity is relatively lower. The two kinds of concretes can massively reduce the pollution to environment and achieve the goal of conserving energy and reducing carbon emission. The WMA use sasobit as the admixture to lower the viscosity of cementitious material, it can decrease the operating temperature by about 12℃, which can make the WMA has better defending rutting ability. Furthermore, proceed basic properties tests and performance tests against different admixtures to WMA, to make sure and estimate it’s availability. The foamed bitumen process has a higher economic benefit and is more friendly to the environment, it’s effective mixing process and fully utilizing the waste have great benefit to conserving energy and reducing carbon emission. There are two major parameters of foam asphalt, expansion ratio and half-life. The expansion ratio is the ratio of the volume of the asphalt after the foaming to the original; the half-life is the time that the volume of foam asphalt decreases from it’s maximum to a half. The bigger the expansion ratio is, the more completely the foam asphalt can connect with the aggregate; the longer the half-life is, the foam is more difficult to decrease and having more time to mix. The key of foam asphalt is about controlling the quantity of water to have the best expansion ratio and half-life to reach a higher benefit of foam mix asphalt concrete. 研究期間:10006 ~ 10105
