    Abstract: 本計畫主要目的為擬開發微結構型整合光學膜板於LED直下式背光模組之二次光學技術與最佳化結構之設計,利用低功率LED作條狀排列(light bar),預計能取代傳統直下式背光模組必要的光學元件-擴散板,且具備較傳統直下式背光模組薄型與減少光源數目的特性,並達到能有足夠的均勻度與亮度之面光源,預估在32吋直下式背光模組均勻度可達80%,亮度在5000(nits)以上,並且模組厚度預計能達到15mm,光源數目僅用8排低功率LED燈條。搭配初步的LED局部區域調光(local dimming)的電路模組功能,滿足邊緣式背光模組無法達到的高階顯示特性-高畫質、高動態對比,並兼顧輕薄之特點,為往後LCD TV之主流趨勢與邁向在顯示器應用開發之綠色科技與節能目的。 The main purpose of this project to be developed the secondary optical technology and the optimization of structure design for the integration of micro-structured optical sheet in the LED direct-lit backlight module. We use low-power LED array for the strip (light bar) which is expected to replace the necessary optical components of the traditional direct-lit backlight module - diffusion plate, and compare traditional direct-lit backlight module with the characteristics for thinner and less number of light source. Besides, it has sufficient uniformity and brightness of the surface light source. We estimate at 32 inch direct-lit backlight module of up to 80% uniformity, brightness in 5000 (nits) or more, and the module thickness is expected to reach 15mm, number of light sources only 8 low-power LED light bar row. Furthermore, we combine initial local dimming with the LED circuit module functions to meet the edge-lit backlight module which cannot reach high-level display features – high image quality, high dynamic contrast, and take into account the characteristics of thin model. It becomes the main trend for the future LCD TV and towards the development of display applications in green technologies and energy-saving purposes. 研究期間:10006 ~ 10105
