利用福衛三號衛星由無線電掩星技術所反演出的電離層資料將由五個研究主題整合起來的計畫應用來研究電離層中的型態學及電動力。衛星觀測地球的能力使得對電離層不同時間時及不同地理或地磁緯度同時研究其物理現象變成更為可行。此整合型研究團隊將會執行一些有趣的研究主題,包括,高緯度的電離層結構、電離層標高的全球分佈、中性風在形成全球散塊E 層中所扮演的角色、利用HHT 分析資料的技術來解析高層大氣中多種物理參數的高度剖面分佈、以及電子密度分佈變化與重覆磁爆發生之間的電動力關係。各個子計畫間密集的互動將使得科學目的更為準確及有效率。我們期望此整合型計畫能夠透過國家科學委員會的補助而能夠進一步幫助對地球電離層多個層面的了解。 Five research topics using the FORMOSAT-3 data derived from the radio occultation technique and the tri-band beacon are integrated to study the ionospheric morphology and electrodynamics. The satellite measurements make it available to study the ionospheric phenomena simultaneously at different local times and geographic or geomagnetic latitudes. The scientific group will be working on many interesting studies such as the ionosperic structures in high-latitudes, the global distribution of ionospheric scale heights, the role of neutral winds in the global sporadic E, the analysis of upper atmospheric profiles using the HHT technique, and the electrodynamics relations with recurrent magnetic storms. Intense interactions among different research topics also make the scientific proposes more accurate and efficient. We expect that this integrated project granted from the National Science Council would further improve our current understanding of the earth’s ionosphere in many perspectives. 研究期間:10008 ~ 10107
