本計畫全程預計以四年時間(97至100年),分區蒐集台灣東北部外海、沖繩海槽南段及琉球弧溝系統之現存海洋地球物理及地質資料及相關文獻。所蒐集的資料及文獻將以表格及圖形方式展示並建檔。經過地物與地質資料的綜合解釋後,最後整合各項資料,於各年度繪製各分區之海洋地質圖及相關圖表。研究結果建立台灣東北海域海洋地物與地質資料庫,分析相關資訊,以完整掌握東北海域海洋地質條件實況,評估海域斷層之特性及其對台灣東北部可能之影響並可作為地調所未來從事海洋地質圖幅繪製時,於資料不足處,測勘與收集地物與地質資料之參考依據。本計畫已於前三年分別建立淡水海域、棉花嶼及北棉花峽谷海域、蘇澳外海往東延伸等三區之海洋地質及地物資料庫。經綜合解釋資料後,繪製各樣海洋地質圖資。今年(100年度),本計畫將蒐集花蓮和平海域向東延伸之各項地物與地質資料,經綜合分析後,繪製各式相關之主題地質圖資,並建議未來此區海洋地質圖測繪時應補充之調查區域及調查資料。本計畫也將分析地調所第一期計畫於宜蘭外海所採集之海洋沉積物岩心,並納入資料庫中。同時將建立富貴角海域、十萬分之一海域地質圖幅M10-1區域範圍之資料庫,以充實東北海域資料庫內容。本期計畫為最後一年,於計畫結束後將撰寫一份四年總報告,闡述四年的綜合研究成果。 This project aims to collect and analyze the existing marine geophysical and geological data off the coast of northern Taiwan in the year of 2008 to 2011. The published literature concerning the study area will also be reviewed and synthesized in this project to gain a better understanding of the geological framework and potential geological hazards off northern Taiwan. The collected data will be archived as tables or maps in a database for latter access. In each year, the geological structures and other sedimentary or geophysical features will be mapped out in forms similar to the 1 to 100 thousands-scale marine geological maps. After reviewing and archiving all the existing geophysical and geological data, we hope to provide a reference frame for future data collection for full-scale marine geological mapping projects and to provide a synthesis for potential geological hazards off the coast of northern and northeastern Taiwan. We have already established marine geological and geophysical datasets and compiled various geological maps in three offshore areas of Danshui, Mienhua islet and Northern Mienhua Canyon as well as Suao during project years of 2008, 2009 and 2010, respectively. This project year (2010) is to collect marine geophysical and geological data offshore Hoping area, Hualien. Various geological and sediment distribution maps will be prepared after analyzing available and collected datasets. We will also suggest possible future directions for marine geological/geophysical surveys in case of full-scale offshore geological mapping is to be carried out. We will also analyze sediment cores collected during the previous project phase offshore Ilan area. The sediment data will also be incorporated into marine database. In addition, marine data collected in the M10-1 area of the 1 to 100 thousands-scale marine geological map, offshore Keelung, will be archived in our marine datasets. In addition to the final report for year 2011, we will also write a document to synthesize the research results for project year of 2008-2011. 研究期間:10001 ~ 10002
