    摘要: 本計劃為由古生物恐龍專家Dr. Reize發起和其國際工作團隊合作,針對本計劃協同主持人黃大一博士最新發現世界上最早的雲南恐龍胚胎化石,做一詳細的研究,可以: 1. 將對恐龍繁殖與生態之瞭解向前推到二億年前,亦即恐龍剛出現於地球之際。 2. 探討同時生活在同一地球板塊(盤古大陸版塊)兩端的雲南恐龍和非洲恐龍之異同。 3. 這些恐龍是晚三疊紀/早侏羅紀的陸生脊椎動物:在幼龍時以四足爬行,但在成龍時以雙腳行走,與人類成長類似 。 4. 探討在此早期時代恐龍生存與演化的原因,是本計劃探討的主題之一。本計劃協同主持人黃大一博士所發現的世界上最早的恐龍胚胎,與周圍生物化石,可以對當時生態做分析研究。 5. 本計劃協同主持人Dr. Reize為世界知名的古生物專家,他有三篇Nature和七篇Science的古生物論文。他是美國國家科學院AAAS、以及世界其他四個國家的院士,他看上台灣的光電與生物科技技術,主動提出與中央大學光電所與中興大學農學院合作古生物研究工作,並參與Dr. Reize的國際團隊與其做新的結合,這是世界上首次由光電及生物研究機構為古生物化石研究量身訂作設計研究儀器,以前古生物研究是借用現有的醫學或工業用顯微鏡、X光等設備,常常不適合於化石之觀測。 6. 本計劃為研究我們所發現的世界最早恐龍胚胎,特地量身訂作下列三個部份: ( 1 ) 衛星影像及田野高空無人駕駛飛行器光譜攝影系統研製與量測 ( 2 ) 古生物化石多光譜影像平台研製與量測 ( 3 ) 雲南早期恐龍化石稀土元素與同位素及古生物環境生態調查與研究 Dr . Reize把台灣加入他的國際合作恐龍研究計劃團隊,可以為台灣古生物學研究建立長期的國際合作,和堅強的古生物研究基礎。 This project was started by Dr. Robert Reisz and his international team for a comprehensive study on the oldest dinosaur embryo discovered by co-leader of this project, Dr. Timothy Huang, for the following goals: 1. To push the understanding of dinosaur reproduction and ecology to about 200 million years when the dinosaurs just showed up on the earth. 2. To explore the similarities and differences of the dinosaurs from two far apart places (South African and Yunnan) of the Pangea super-continent. 3. These dinosaurs were the terrestrial vertebras of late Triassic/early Jurassic: They walked with four legs in the early age, and become bipedal in adulthood, with some similarities to human. 4. To explore the reasons for existence and evolution of these early dinosaurs is one of main topics we are looking for. The oldest dinosaur embryos found by Dr. Timothy Huang, co-leader of this project will provide the dinosaur and surrounding material for our environmental analysis of that time period. 5. The other co-leader of this project, Dr. Robert Reisz is an internationally well known paleontologist. He published 3 paleontological paper on Nature, and 5 on Science. He is a Fellow of AAAS, as well as Fellow of four other countries. When he knows the advancement of opto-electronics and bio-techs of Taiwan, he invites both Opto-electronic department of the Central University and the College of Agriculture of the ChongHsing University for a join research program and combining with his international team. This is the very first time that Opto-electronic/bio-techs will develop customized research equipment for paleontology. In the past, paleontology borrows equipment from existing medical or industrial microscopes, X-ray, etc. These existing facilities may not be very suitable for best observations. In this project, we are going to study the oldest dinosaur embryos discovered by us. The following three parts are specially designed. (1) Satellite image and Remote control flying vehicle spectrum photographic system (2) Multiple spectrum platform for paleontological research (3) Rare earth element and isotope analysis of fossil materials and surrounding sediments, as well as other paleo-environment/ecology related studies. Including Taiwan teams into his international dinosaur research team by Dr. Reisz will enable paleontological studies in Taiwan to establish a long term international cooperation and enhance the foundation of paleontological researches. 研究期間:10008 ~ 10107
