    Title: 分析中壢地區電離層散塊E層3公尺不規則體之動力行為;Investigations of Dynamic Behavior of 3-meter sporadic E irregularities using the Chung-Li VHF Radar

    Abstract: 本次實驗利用中壢52 MHz 雷達觀測三公尺場沿不規則體,時間分別為2008 年2 月5 日、2008 年2 月6 日以及2008 年8 月19 日。利用雷達干涉法定位結果,重建散塊不規則體三度空間結構後發現這三天的不規則出現高度範圍大部分都在約為95 至105 公里之處,少部分分佈在110 至130 公里。配合頻譜分析結合動差法計算出不規則體之平均都卜勒速度、頻寬以及總功率,對不規則體的特性做完整的分析。觀測資料顯示,長時間的平均都卜勒速度有類似波動的擾動現象,透過不同高度層上的互相關分析,發現造成類似波動的現象並非有波動傳遞。並且發現不規則體在同一時間的不同高度層會產生不同類型之三公尺不規則體,且不規則體會隨著時間向下移動與中界層結構有類似之情形。因此本篇論文利用平均都卜勒速度隨著不同時間以及高度上的分佈,來研究形成中緯度地區散塊E 層不規則體之動力行為。 With employing 52 MHz Chung-Li VHF radar, the 3-meter field-aligned irregularity (FAI) echoes are observed on Feb.5, Feb.6, and Aug.19,2008. The use of Interferometry technique to reconstruct spatial distribution of sporadic E irregularity echoes shows that most of 3-meter irregularities are occurred in the height range from 95 km to 105 km, but some of them are between 110 km to 130 km. With the moment method we calculate the total power, mean Doppler velocity and spectral width from observed Doppler spectra, which help us to realize the properties of irregularity. From the height-time distribution of the mean Doppler velocity, we observe quasi-wave modulation phenomenon. However, cross-correlation analysis shows that there is no phase shift between the modulations in different heights. We also find that the 3-meter irregularities are descending with the time, which are similar to the Intermediate and Descending Layer (IDL). The dynamic behaviors of the 3-meter field-aligned irregularities are also discussed in this thesis.
