因應探空火箭七號的發射計畫,中央大學電波傳播實驗室朱延祥教授所帶領的研究團隊在九鵬基地架設30MHz及52MHz的雷達,用以監測電離層散塊E層不規則體的回波,以利探空火箭現場量測實驗進行。利用此機會在2010年5月4日與2010年5月5日同步使用了中壢中央大學校園52MHz雷達進行觀測,並與九鵬基地的雷達資料作比對。分析過程中我們發現兩地不規則體回波資料,在東西向的運動以及高度上的變化上有很大的相似性,在都卜勒隨時間的變化上,發現了一段極為類似的結構,針對其作互相關分析,推測不規則體極有可能在南北方向有很大的延伸空間,以一個波動的形式由東往西運動。 另藉由比對探空火箭七號科學酬載離子探測器現地量測資料與兩地雷達所觀測到的不規則體,在高度上的分布,發現雖然在空間上有南北三地之分卻也有相當高的一致性,電離層散塊E層不規則體在空間上確實可能具有相當廣的涵蓋範圍。In respond to the launching project of the sounding rocket No. 7, professor Chu and his research team of National Central University has set up the 30MHz and the 52MHz radar at Jiou-peng base in order to collect data feedback from the sounding rocket and monitor the echo of plasma irregularities in ionospherec sporadic E layer.In the meantime, on May 4, and May 5, 2010, we use this opportunity to use the 30MHz and 50MHz radar of National Central University, Chungli, for observation and the radar data comparison with Jiou-peng base. During the process of analysis, we are able to discover the irregularities echo data of the two bases share great similarity in the east-west movement and the changes in the height.As for the Doppler Velocity changes over time, we have found a very similar structure that has been targeted for cross-correlation analysis. We speculated that the irregularities are most likely to have larger extension in north-south direction and move in a wave from east to west.In addition, by verifying and comparing the data from the ion trap on sounding rocket no. 7, and the irregularities in height distribution data from the two radar bases, we have found that even though there is difference on the north and south, the consistency in space is still relatively high. That is, the ionospheric sporadic E-layer is presumably having a wide scope in space.
