    Title: 鹿林山背景測站採樣分析與國際合作之參與及推動研究專案;Operation and Monitoring at the Lulin Atmospheric Background Station and International Collaboration and Participation

    Abstract: 近年來亞洲地區大氣污染物(包含酸性物染物、亞洲沙塵、生質燃燒、大氣汞等)對我國的長程輸送已受到相當廣泛的注意。基於區域性與跨洲際大氣污染傳送問題釐清,以及我國背景大氣化學基線資料之建立,已於中部鹿林山建構具國際水準之空氣品質背景站,2006年4月13日正式啟用。本計畫整合降水化學、微量氣體、大氣氣膠、大氣汞、大氣輻射等主要領域專長研究者進行相關儀器功能測試、維護、資料分析,建立長期資料庫,於2007年12月至2008年11月計畫執行期間資料顯示,CO平均為120.5 ppb,O3平均為33.5 ppb,PM10平均為10.1 g m-3,pH值平均為5.73,氣態元素汞(GEM)平均濃度為1.78 ng m-3;氣態二價汞(RGM)平均濃度為41.65 pg m-3;顆粒態汞(pHg)平均濃度為8.96 pg m-3,氣膠光學厚度為0.102,各污染物月平均濃度變化趨勢顯示,鹿林山春季受境外移入之大氣污染物影響顯著,3月份是東南亞生質燃燒好發季節,藉由氣流軌跡分析、污染物成分分析可初步確定高污染事件與生質燃燒有關。估算鹿林山大氣污染物背景值,CO、O3和PM10的背景值分別為81.9 ppb、27.7 ppb和6.1 g m-3,而全年出現污染事件日的比例為32%,且以3月份大氣污染物濃度較背景值增加200 %以上。推動與美國環保署、太空總署、海洋大氣總署合作,進行技術交流與資料交換。積極參與國際合作,例如聯合國大氣褐雲國際觀測實驗(ABC)、美國太空總署亞洲生質燃燒國際觀測實驗(BASE-Asia),以及與日本富士山監測站區域合作等,進行實質監測、資料交換、技術交流、參與會議,並爭取會議主辦權。鹿林山背景站目前已是全球觀測網的一員,例如NASA/AERONet和 NOAA/GMD監測網。2008年舉辦7SEAS國際會議,邀請國內外學者參與,展現鹿林山背景站研究成果。更多資訊可參考鹿林山大氣背景站中英文網頁。 ; In recent years the long-range transport of Asian atmospheric pollutants (for instance, acid pollutants, Asian dust, biomass burning and mercury) to Taiwan has been widely paid attention. In order to clarify the intercontinental and regional transport and to collect the atmospheric baseline data, the Lulin Atmospheric Background Station (LABS, 2862 m MSL), located at Mt. Lulin in central Taiwan, has been operated since 13 April 2006. This project integrates the researchers in the fields of precipitation chemistry, gas chemistry, aerosol chemistry, atmospheric mercury and radiation to test and maintain the instruments, conduct data analysis and construct long-term database. Till present time, the average concentrations of CO, O3 and PM10 are about 120.5 ppb, 33.5 ppb and 10.1 g m-3, respectively. The average pH value of precipitation is 5.73. The average concentrations of mercury such as GEM, RGM and PHg are about 1.78 ng m-3, 41.65 pg m-3 and 8.96 pg m-3, respectively. The average aerosol optical depth is 0.101. The background concentrations of CO, O3 and PM10 are estimated to be about 81.9 ppb, 27.7 ppb and 6.1 g m-3, respectively. About 32 % of the days in a year can be defined to be polluted. Especially in March, the concentrations of above three pollutants show 200% higher than their background values. To summarize the results, the maximum concentration of pollutants generally occurred during spring time, especially in March, corresponding to the biomass burning from SE Asia. Besides, we have established intensive international collaborations with USEPA, NOAA, NASA, and Japan Mt. Fuji Project. We have also participated international experiments or campaigns including UNEP/ABC/EAREX and BASE-Asia. The LABS is now part of global networks, for instance, NASA/AERONet, NOAA/Global sampling network. We also held 7-SEAS workshop in 2008. More than 30 international scientists participated to present the regional pollution issues and discuss about future regional experiments.
