近來熱門的semantic web 是提升web 資訊流通以及智慧化使用的基礎建設。透過agent 程式,做為代理個人行為的software,更可以有效的利用annotated semantic 資訊以及降低個人的cognitive load。在這當中agent 需要在semantic web 上具備有效的communication mechanism,讓agents 以彼此溝通替個人做決策。因此,agent interaction protocol 應運而生,它規範Agents 互動方式,讓軟體溝通有一致的互動樣版。本研究企圖開發一個環境,稱為Agent and Annotator Authoring Environment,它以五個循序漸進階層來建構: 1)Web Service,將單獨(stand alone) 軟體轉成網路服務,2) SemanticWeb Service,賦予Web Service 語意描述,3) FIPA-Compatible Agent,代表使用者的軟體行為,agents 能彼此溝通,以執行SemanticWeb Service,及4) Annotator,讓使用者標記自己的認知(user terms)。5) Ontology Authoring Tool,透過user terms 產生相關的ontology。這環境可讓使用者(個人或企業) 以編輯方式建構Agent 以及ontology,即讓使用者自行編輯符合需求的agent 與ontology,如此,可大幅提升agent 在semantic web 上的普及性,讓semantic web 願景早日實現。 ; Semantic web, a hot research area, is an essential infrastructure to enhanse Web to obtain better integration of information and intelligence using annotated web resources. This approach takes a form of software called agent to represent indivisual behavior in order to reduce cognitive load of the indivisual. Agent needs some communication mechanism over the semantic web so that agents can communicate with each other to make decision for indivisual. This necessaciates agent interaction protocol that regulates the way agents interact with each other and thus provide a consistent pattern of interaction. This research attempts to build an environment called Agent and Annotator Authoring Environment that will be built in five stages: 1) web service that is transformed from stand alone software, 2) semantic web service that defines meaning of the service, 3) agent that represents user application. Note that agents communicate with each other to execute semantic web service, and 4) annotator that annotates the user terms, 5) ontology authoring tool that allows user to build ontology through the user terms.
