    Abstract: 研究期間:10303~10312;The mechanisms controlling the sediment transport around Danshui river mouth and the surrounding coastalines are tides, waves, river flow, suspended load and bed load. In order to evaluate the sediment capacity and the stability of the Danshui river mouth, the proper evaluation of sediment transport in this region is required. In this study, we will explore the bedforms around Danshui river mouth and the evolution of Waziwei sand spit in an one-year span. The hydraulic data will be continuously collected , and will be used to calibrate the suitable sediment transport equation. The model will be evaluated by either experimental or field studies. The goal of this study is to provide some alternatives to resolve the sediment erosion and accretion problems around Danshui river mouth and the Taipei Harbor.
