摘要: | 研究期間:10311~10407;Over the last decade, Taiwan is declining in the country’s competitiveness around the world. Its economic growth rate has declined continuously, and the GNI per capita of Taiwan is much lower than the values in the rest of the Four Asian Tigers, according to the World Bank’s 2011 World Development Report. Moreover, because of the brain drain, and the migration of many industries to mainland China or South Asia, Taiwan will not be able to compete with other countries in the overall economy. Thus, the Government has also invested a great cost to enhance the industrial economy, in which the most important key factor and weapon of the enhancement is the level of R&D in industry. Universities in Taiwan have sufficient advanced R&D human resource. These universities encourage interdisciplinary cooperation between their researchers and the industry, with the hope that the researchers not just focus on the academic output, but also pay more attention to patent output and technology applications. Through the construction of technology transfer mechanism and the guidance of the industry-academy matching service, we can spread the research energy of the academy to the industry, and enhance the industry-academy cooperation. Thus, this cooperation can offer a win-win opportunity for both sides, including technology development and academic research. Therefore, this project will build up bridges among the National Science Council (NSC), the Industrial Development Bureau, the academy, and the industry, with the hope of a vertical integration. Based on the R&D results of “Science Education” in NSC, as well as the network platform, the community, and the industry-academy matching service mechanism, R&D results developed by the academy can be successfully transferred to the industry. In addition, the advanced research human resource, patents, and new technologies can become commercial products in the market. Four sub-projects are proposed in this project: Project for Industrial Development trends and strategy Analysis in Science Education, Project for Archives and Analysis of Research performance in Science Education, Project for Industry-Academia research & development Sharing Platform in Science Education, and Project for Application & Promotion of Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways in Science Education. We believe that the successful implementation of the four sub-projects will improve overall industry's competitiveness in Taiwan. |
