摘要: | 研究期間:10308~10407;In recent years, many new technologies of software, hardware, and wireless network are developed rapidly. Under this circumstance, the cost of construction of wireless infrastructure is lower in advance. The popular wireless communication technologies including WiFi, 2G, 3Q 3.5Q and LTE, WiMAX in the recent future. Meanwhile, the concept of intelligent transportation system also getting a lot of attention. Nowadays, the vehicle itself equip simple sensor computing system. This system connect to the Internet via WiFi or other wireless communication technology. Therefore, the user in the vehicle can enjoy many cloud services such as collection of real-time information, emergency request or multimedia entertainment application. This joint project named “Next Generation Self-Diagnostic Green Energy Vehicular Transportation System” is proposed based on the concept of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication. Unlike the traditional protocol design, this project proposed a cross-layer protocol design which integrating many novel technologies of software, hardware and network such like Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET), sensor computing system, intelligent video analysis and cloud computing. This system collect information via the sensor computing system on the vehicles or road side infrastructures. When particular emergency event or periodic event occur, they report event information to green cloud center via road side infrastructures or just exchange between vehicles who involved. Inside the cloud center, the intelligent video traffic analysis system analyses the collected information. Finally, the user can download the interested real-time traffic information from the cloud center. This system can provide very useful environment information to drivers based on the information collected by other vehicles or cloud center. This system can also improve the safety and saving time for drivers through the automatically intelligent self-diagnostic, analysis system. In advance, this system address many issues such as relief of traffic jam, car accident, saving energy, reduce environment pollution. Therefore, the design concept of a self-diagnostic green energy vehicular transportation system proposed by this project will be significant technologies for future applications in VANET and cloud computing. |
