研究期間:10111~10210;The mission of this investigation is to monitor the land cover then use GEE (Google Earth Enterprise) to establish the “3D Geospatial Systems”. Study sites cover two types of land cover, namely, urban and agriculture areas. All data sets and extracted information will be integrated in a 3D geospatial system for information exchange among sub-projects. To observe the urbanization, metropolitan areas and Guandu wetlands are investigated in this project. This project also considers the changes of agriculture areas, including Qigu wetlands, to analyze the land cover in different time points. This project includes three major parts: (1) change detection for urban and mountain areas, (2) monitoring agriculture area changes in Taiwan, and (3) establishment of 3D information platform. The monitoring period of the first and the second parts is every 5 years from 1980 to 2010. The goal of the first item in the first year is to use satellite images to monitor land changes in Taipei city. Three-dimensional building models for Taipei city will be reconstructed. The second year work will include Taichung city. Three-dimensional change detection for buildings in Taipei city will also be included. The third year will cover Tainan and Kaohsiung cities. In the agriculture monitoring, the first year will study the land cover changes for Taiwan in two time points, 1980 and 2010. The second year will study the land cover changes in two time points, 1990 and 1995. The third year will study the land cover changes in two time points, 2000 and 2005. In the establishment of information platform, combining with data integration a GEE-based system will be built in the first year. The work in the second year enhances the system interface to improve the applicability. The third year will focus on the information integration and photo-realistic visualization. Aiming at image processing for satellite data, the core research in this project is to perform change detection. The building changes in Taipei city will also be integrated in the information platform.
