研究期間:10106~10205;Light emitting diodes (LEDs) have been regarded as the major light sources in modern lighting. For a lighting design, the data based on optical distribution of LED package and bidirectional scattering distribution function (BSDF) of diffusing optical components are important. In this project, we want to develop an innovative instrument to measure both the optical distribution of LEDs and BSDF quickly. The instrument uses a 2-D screen and a camera to catch a portion of distribution, and the whole-field optical distribution is acquired by synthesizing the images on the screen in different angles. The advantages of this instrument are (1) Time saving, (2) Small in size, (3) Measuring flexibility, and (4) Low cost. It is competitive to the product current commercial market. The project is divided into 6 phases: First: Constructing the measuring instrument. Second: Make measurement of diffusing target or LED light source. Third: Calculate the whole field optical distribution from the experiment result, and compare it with what measured by 1-D goniometer. Fourth: Repeat second and third step and make modification in details till the result is right. Fifth phase: Put the measurement result into ASAP to build an optical model. Sixth phase: Build up a standard operation procedure (SOP). The final goal is to make the instrument useable and trustable.
