研究期間:10108~10207;The NCU HEP group has been a member of the CMS collaboration for 10 years. We have successfully participated in the construction of the CMS Preshower detector, and have since become the leading group on the DCS (Detector Control System) of the Preshower hardware. During 2009, we have finished the construction and installation of the Preshower detector. In the mean time, LHC has started physics run at the end of the year. This marks a new phase of our research in the CMS. Our central work will move from hardware oriented activities to physics analysis. In the proposal, we propose to carry out three top level tasks. First, we will continue the operation and maintenance of the Preshower DCS. Secondly, we will carry out the measurement of QCD photon productions in LHC proton-proton collisions. The third task is to study the W/Z final states in LHC. We expect to obtain important physics results with the first year’s data from LHC.
