Abstract: 研究期間:10108~10207;The purpose of the project is to apply the theoretical analysis and plasma simulation on the study of the nonlinearly dynamical interaction between the electromagnetic wave and plasma in the relativistic regime. Two major research topics are: 1. Relativistic vacuum electronics: The theoretical analysis, self-developed time-dependent self-consistent large signal theory, particle-in-cell time-dependent self-consistent large signal theory, and the full particle-in-cell simulation method are applied on studying nonstationary behaviors of the electron cyclotron resonance maser. The external reflection complicates the dynamical behavior of electron cyclotron maser, e.g. the induction of the hysteresis phenomena during the magnetic field tuning and voltage tuning et al, which will be examined in the study. The dynamical behavior of the electron beam in a diode or a drift space will also studied for understanding its effects on the space charge limited current. 2. Interaction between the intense laser pulse and plasma: The particle-in-cell simulation and the nonlinear analysis are applied on the research topics, including the plasma-based particle acceleration, relativistic high harmonics generation, nonlinearly spectral broadening and relativistic cross-phase modulation et al. Based on the simulation results, we can derive useful nonlinear theory and provide the physical explanations for experimental observations and experimental designs.
