    Abstract: 研究期間:10108~10207;In the LTE-A technology, the IMT-A requirements are met using a variety of techniques, which include higher order multiple input multiple output (MIMO), carrier aggregation, heterogeneous networks, and downlink intercell CoMP transmission and reception. In this project, we focus on the radio resource allocation algorithm development with cross-layer designs for the MIMO and the heterogeneous network technologies. Multiple antenna systems with orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) are the most promising combination of technologies for high data-rate services in the 4G wireless networks. In LTE-A, capacity and coverage enhancement can also be achieved using a heterogeneous network (Hetnet). There are various types of low-power nodes including microcells, picocells, femtocells, and relays in the Hetnet networks. Particularly, we are more interested in the radio resource allocation algorithm design for the macro/femto cell deployment environments. Co-channel interference would be the common characteristics occurred in some scenarios using these two technologies. We aims to develop schemes to mitigate the interference with the cross-layer resource allocation algorithms in the project. In the first year, we deal with resource allocation problems for Multiuser MIMO techniques. First, we consider systems using MMSE precoding to develop an resource allocation scheme. Then, we aims to derive a spatial signature-based resource allocation method and a resource allocation algorithm with a location-based interference mitigation technique. In the second year, we deal with resource allocation problems for LTE-A Hetnet techniques. We are going to develop iteration algorithms with mutual interference environments for Macro/Pico Cells and subcarrier and power (and bit) allocation algorithms for multi-user OFDM systems with Femtocell deployment.
