摘要: | 研究期間:10108~10207;The emergence of Electronic paper (e-paper) technology and e-book like Amazon Kindle are considered to empower green initiative. Besides that, capacity of eBooks is relatively massive that you can store hundreds and thousands of books, just like a library. The trend brings a new age of portable knowledge. As to students, this kind of digital device seems to be a reasonable prospect of replacing book bags with textbooks. However, the experiment with Kindle as textbooks in class resulted in a big failure. Lacking of the features of printed books, such as annotations, highlighting, and …etc. on eBooks would be the major cause of the failing. Despite all that, some affirmative functions of e-medium, like sorting, linking to web sources, and sorts of learning-assisted kits haven't have been extensively applied on eBooks. Recent studies on eBooks and printed books lay the emphasis on comparisons of learning effectiveness, functions between two media. Few studies set a foot on time and space difference related to readers' reading behavior. For instance, some readers have the habit of finger-bookmarking to search on pages. Besides that, eBooks as assisted learning in classrooms and cooperation of classroom equipment haven't been thoroughly addressed at present. This project continues the previous researches we did on textbooks bridging to web-assisted community. We attempt to rebuild the habitual learning behaviors with textbooks to e-text device. Moreover, the design of the interface we dedicate for users can integrate, manage, and refer to target information. We try to offer features on eBooks that difficult to find in a printed book, but benefit learning. Meanwhile, we also study on the integration of eBooks and classroom supplements and resources. |
