研究期間:10111~10210;Groundwater is one of the stable water resources in word. Due to spatial and temporal nonuniformity of rainfall in Taiwan, some areas in Taiwan highly rely on the groundwater to be the main water supply. Because extreme climate events may occur frequently in the future, the variability of available surface water will increase. The relatively stable water resource such as groundwater will play an important role under such situation. Therefore, the evaluation, management, monitoring, and protection of groundwater resources are important for current stage. The Water Resource Bureau had proposed the plan “Groundwater Resources Conservation and Management Plan” after 2009. The objective of the plan is to develop a platform that can provide efficient techniques in monitoring and managing groundwater resources in Taiwan. The objective of the project is to develop an interactive groundwater modeling and analysis framework on the basis of monitoring data from Water Resource Bureau. The features of the developed framework involve ⑴ graphical interface for displaying spatial and temporal monitoring data, (2) online numerical groundwater modeling, (3) online aquifer parameter estimations and uncertainty analysis, (4) regional groundwater balance analysis, (5) supply well capture zone delineations, and (6) analysis of impact of new well on regional groundwater environment. The groundwater modeling and analysis framework will be expected to integrate groundwater monitoring data with efficiently interactive groundwater modeling techniques. Additionally, the framework and the associated platform can provide the efficient and accurate analysis of groundwater problems for multiple disciplines, including potential users in government, education, and industry.
